For bars, restaurants, cafés and hotels

The menu is already in your guest’s pocket.

They scan the code on the table and your menu opens on their phone — in their language, with your photos and your prices. They order, call the waiter or ask for the bill, and it lands on the tablet behind the bar with a sound. Nothing to install, on either side.

How it works

Three steps, and the first two are done once.

After that the only thing anyone touches is the menu itself.

1

Build your menu

Categories, items, descriptions, photos and prices — typed once, in as many languages as you serve. Change a price at six and it is live at six.

2

Print a card per table

Every table gets its own QR code with its number on it. Stand it on the table and it never has to change again, not even when the whole menu is rewritten.

3

The bar answers

Orders, waiter calls and bill requests land in one queue on any tablet or phone you already own, oldest first, with a sound. Staff tap a ticket when it is served.

What is included

Everything, on every account.

There is no upgrade to unlock a feature. A two-table café and a forty-table restaurant run exactly the same system.

Every language you serve

Each item has a name and a description per language. The guest taps their own flag; your default is what the table shows first.

Ordering that behaves

A basket, a note to the kitchen, “another round” in one tap, and a minimum gap between orders so nobody spams the bar.

Waiter call and the bill

Two buttons that save a raised hand. The bill request says cash or card, so whoever walks over already knows what to bring.

Hours per category

The kitchen closes at eleven and the bar does not. A closed category stays visible, greyed out, saying when it opens again.

Printable table cards

A card per table with its number, its zone and its code, ready to print. Codes never expire and never need reprinting.

What actually happened

Scans, orders and busy hours per table. The answer to “is anyone using it?” is a number, not an opinion.

Behind the bar

One screen. One queue. One sound.

Everything a table sends arrives in the same list — orders, waiter calls, bill requests — oldest at the top, because it is a work queue and not a news feed.

  • Works on any tablet, phone or old laptop you already own
  • A kitchen screen can be scoped to its own categories
  • Says out loud when the network drops, instead of going quiet

If a subscription ever lapses

Nothing is deleted. Your menu, your photos, your translations and your tables all stay exactly as they are; after a short grace period the codes on the tables stop showing the menu until it is renewed, and paying brings the whole thing back in the same second.

Questions

The things owners ask first.

Do my guests have to install anything?

No. They point the camera at the code on the table and the menu opens in the browser they already have. There is no account to create and no email to type.

Do I have to buy tablets?

No. A printed card on each table is the whole installation, and the bar queue runs on any device you already own. A tablet on the table is supported, but it is a choice.

Do guests pay through their phone?

No — and that is deliberate. The order and the bill request go to your staff, and your guests pay you the way they do today. When they ask for the bill they tell you cash or card, so the person walking over already knows what to bring.

What stops someone ordering from outside the venue?

A printed code can be photographed and shared, so there are two ways to close that. Wi-Fi ordering only accepts orders from people connected to your own network — free, on every package that includes ordering, and it asks nothing of the guest. Phone confirmation asks a guest to confirm a mobile number once, by text; they are remembered for two years and at every venue using BarMenu.Pro, so most people never see it twice. You can also block a number that abuses your code.

My kitchen closes before the bar does.

Set hours and weekdays per category. Outside its hours the category stays visible but greyed out, showing exactly when it opens again — guests read it and stop asking, which is the whole point.

What happens if I stop paying?

After a short grace period the codes on your tables stop showing the menu, and that is the whole of it. Nothing is deleted — every category, item, photo, translation and table is exactly where you left it, and it all comes back the second you pay again.

We already run a SnookerON or BilliardON scoreboard.

Then your playing tables already carry the menu on their tablet at no extra cost, for as long as their own subscription runs. BarMenu.Pro is what covers the rest of the room — the restaurant, the terrace, the bar — and it is priced per venue, so however many of those there are does not change what you pay.

Can you set it up for us?

Yes. Start the free trial, then send us your current menu in whatever form it exists — a PDF, a photo of the printed card, a spreadsheet — and we will build the first version with you. If it is already published on doXmenu, Dinerra, eBar or MyMenu we can import it directly.

Put a code on a table tonight.

Thirty days free, no card, and long enough to see the whole thing work: a guest scanning, a menu in their language, an order arriving at your bar with a sound.
